THERMOTOP PIR INSULATION BOARDS
THERMOTOP are thermal insulation boards with the lowest thermal conductivity coefficient, λ = 0,022 W/mK, made of PIR foam, with aluminum foil or membrane faces acting as a water vapor diffusion barrier, available in various thicknesses.
PIR THERMOTOP boards are recommended for any thermal insulation project of foundations, floors, facades, floors, accessible/non-accessible terraces, or any type of roof.
Thermotop thermal insulation has been designed to meet current requirements for energy efficiency and thermal comfort in construction, being the most performing alternative to classic thermal insulation materials.
Available variants:
- vapor barrier (BV)
- aluminum foil (AL)
Available thicknesses:
- 30 mm - 150 mm
Board dimensions:
- 2400 mm x 1200 mm 1200 mm x 1200 mm
Applicability:
- Foundations
- ETICS facade thermo-system
- Exterior walls
- Ventilated facades
- Pitched roofs
- Accessible/non-accessible terraces
- Terraced roofs for industrial buildings
TYPES OF THERMOTOP PIR BOARDS

THERMOTOP BV/BV
Thermotop BV/BV are thermal insulation boards made of PIR foam, covered on both sides with a membrane acting as a water vapor diffusion barrier. These boards ensure excellent thermal performance and, thanks to the membrane, protect the building structure against moisture, contributing to extending the building's lifespan.
- Lowest thermal conductivity coefficient - λ = 0,022 W/mK
- Compressive strength between ≤130 - ≥170 kPa
- Controls water vapor diffusion
- Does not contain CFC/HCFC (chlorofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons – substances with a negative impact on the ozone layer)
Applications: facades with decorative plaster, ventilated facades, cold/heated floors/terrace or pitched roofs, foundations
Technical approval for decorative plaster: Thermotop BV/BV can be used in any thermal insulation system for facades and is compatible with all types of plasters and exterior finishes. The BV/BV membrane has an SD index of 60.

THERMOTOP AL/AL
THERMOTOP AL/AL are PIR foam thermal insulation boards with aluminum foil on both sides. They ensure excellent thermal performance and, thanks to the aluminum foil, act as a vapor barrier, preventing moisture penetration under the insulating layer. Additionally, the aluminum foil has the property of reflecting heat, contributing to the improvement of thermal insulation efficiency.
- Lowest thermal conductivity coefficient - λ = 0,022 W/mK
- Compressive strength between ≤130 - ≥170 kPa
- Prevents moisture penetration
- Reflective surface, radiates heat to the exterior
- Does not contain CFC/HCFC (chlorofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons – substances with a negative impact on the ozone layer)
Applications: foundations, floors, accessible/non-accessible terraces, pitched roofs, attics, rafter intrados
Thermotop AL has been tested and can be applied in combination with mechanically fixed single-layer and multi-layer roof systems. Upon request, we produce thermal insulation boards with a compressive strength greater than 170 kPa.

BENEFITS OF THERMOTOP PIR INSULATION BOARDS

Thermal insulation up to 100% higher than traditional materials
Due to the unique structure and properties of the materials used, the thermal insulation boards offer high thermal resistance and prevent heat transfer through conduction, convection, and radiation.

Reduced Thickness, Maximum Thermal Performance
THERMOTOP offers excellent thermal insulation, despite the reduced thickness of the boards. For example, a THERMOTOP board with a thickness of 50 mm can provide the same thermal resistance as an expanded polystyrene board with a thickness of approximately 100 mm or mineral wool with a thickness of 100 mm.

Versatility, Speed, Reduced Installation Time
THERMOTOP boards can be faced with a vapor barrier (BV) or aluminum foil (AL), so that the specific functions of the space where they are installed are maximized. Quick installation reduces the completion time of a construction project by up to half.

Eco-friendly and Sustainable Product
THERMOTOP products are manufactured in compliance with the ISO 14001 environmental management system, and THERMOTOP PIR insulation is classified as A in the BRE Green Guide, representing excellent performance in terms of environmental protection. The thermal insulation systems produced by us do not contain CFK/HCFK and have a global warming potential (GWP) that is 5 times lower.
